Obtaining PPE for Departments

Emergency management officials report that in order for fire departments to receive needed PPE for the COVID-19 event, they must contact their local emergency management coordinator or county judge to request the items and in what quantities (for example: 25 masks, 100 pairs of gloves, etc.,). This is the standard procedure used by local agencies in order to receive help from the state. Please be aware that if a department does not make the request, then no PPE will be provided.
